Winner of the Gillette 'Face of Fusion' Contest Celebrates With Beth Ostrosky and FHM Magazine

BOSTON, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Gillette [PG] announced today that 26-year-old San Antonio, TX native, Luke Crawford, has been named the national winner of the Gillette "Face of Fusion" contest, a search for the "face" of Gillette Fusion(TM) and Fusion Power shaving systems. Mr. Crawford celebrated his win with cover model and television personality Beth Ostrosky at a photo shoot for FHM magazine. The spread will be featured in the magazine's December/January double issue, scheduled to hit newsstands December 10.

The search for the "Face of Fusion" was kicked-off in New York City in February 2006 by "American Idol" stars Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul, along with a panel of celebrity judges, including New York Yankees manager, Joe Torre, and president of Ford Models, Katie Ford. Contest judge Beth Ostrosky, along with a scout from Ford Models, evaluated an additional 2,000 contestants in a cross-country search before Mr. Crawford was named the "Face of Fusion."

Mr. Crawford was encouraged to enter the contest by his sister, San Antonio morning show host Kimberly Crawford, who interviewed Ms. Ostrosky on KABB-TV's "Fox News First" about the "Face of Fusion" contest. As the national winner, Mr. Crawford will appear in a Fusion spread in FHM Magazine and will receive a 2006 Dodge Charger, a one-year contract with Ford Models and, of course, plenty of Fusion and Fusion Power blades and razors.

"Having entered the contest on a dare from my sister, I never expected to be selected as a finalist, let alone the national winner," Mr. Crawford said.
