Eugenio Alarcon Joins Deutsche Bank's Debt Capital Markets Group from the Mexican Ministry of Finance
Alarcon joins the bank from the Mexican Ministry of Finance (UMS)where he was the Deputy Director General of External Credit and hisresponsibilities included funding strategies for the Mexicangovernment and risk management for the government's external debtportfolio.
"The liability management and funding expertise Eugenio acquiredat UMS, one of the most sophisticated sovereign borrowers in emergingmarkets, will bring unique insight to our activities in both the localMexican and Latin American capital markets," said Marcelo Blanco, Headof Debt Capital Markets and Corporate Coverage for Latin America. Alarcon holds a BA from Universidad Anahuac and an MBA fromInstituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico.
