Deutsche Bank Appoints Greg Lippmann Global Head of ABS Trading & Syndicate and CDO Trading
Lippmann joined SPG in March 2000 and has been instrumental indeveloping Deutsche Bank's ABS and Collaterized Debt Obligation (CDO)platforms. Since June 2004, Lippmann has been Head of ABS Trading andSyndicate for North America and Global Head of CDO Trading. In thisrole, he has successfully led the industry consortiums that developedthe Single Name ABS CDS and ABSX Index Trading platforms andestablished Deutsche Bank as a top player in these emergingbusinesses.
Deutsche Bank also announced that Kevin Flaherty has beenappointed European Head of Syndicate for ABS and Greg Branch has beenappointed Senior ABS Trader in Europe, in addition to his current roleas Senior CDO Trader. Both Flaherty and Branch report to Lippmann, whowill continue to manage the ABS and CDO trading desks in the U.S.
"Greg has been instrumental in building-out our securitizationtrading and syndicate capabilities in the U.S. and globally over thelast six years. He is highly regarded in the industry and has become apioneer in developing new products and trading platforms for themarket," said d'Albert. "With these appointments, we are positioned tobuild upon past success and further enhance the strength of our SPGplatform."
