Georgia Producer Prices Decline For Second Month
(RTTNews) - Georgia's producer prices declined at a faster pace in July, data released by the National Statistics Office of Georgia showed on Thursday.
The producer price index declined 3.0 percent year-on-year in July, following a 0.5 percent fall in June. In May, the index rose 1.1 percent. Prices declined for the second consecutive month.
Meanwhile, manufacturing prices fell 4.8 percent annually in July. Mining and quarrying prices climbed 23.6 percent and utility costs rose 0.2 percent.
Month-on-month, overall producer prices fell 0.6 percent in July, after remaining stable in the previous month.
