With Dell, Ruby Tuesday Reinvents Its Dining Experience; Restaurant Improves Operations and Service by Partnering With Dell

Ruby Tuesday chose Dell to provide hardware as well asinstallation and project management services. The company purchasedbundled kitchen and bar display systems from Dell. Each Ruby Tuesdayrestaurant uses three to four kitchen systems and one bar system, withmore than 3,500 systems nationwide.

Ruby Tuesday's new kitchen display systems automaticallycoordinate orders based on the differing cook times of its menuselections. Cooks now need less experience and training, as they onlyneed to cook individual menu items based on the system's instructions.Managers can also generate reports to identify trends andopportunities for improvement.

Additionally, cooks and bartenders can use the systems to look uprecipe cards and plate assembly instructions, allowing Ruby Tuesday toeliminate the expense of printing and shipping recipe cards.
