UnitedHealth Affirms 2014 EPS View; Sees 2015 EPS In Line

(RTTNews) - Health insurer UnitedHealth Group (UNH) said that, at Investor Conference, it will affirm its previous outlook for 2014 net earnings of $5.60 to $5.65 per share. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $5.64 per share for fiscal 2014. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company noted that it will also discuss its 2015 financial outlook, which includes revenues of $140.5 billion to $141.5 billion and net earnings of $6.00 to $6.25 per share. Wall Street currently is looking for fiscal year 2015 earnings of $6.13 per share on annual revenues of $140.44 billion.

The company said will host its annual Investor Conference with analysts and institutional investors in New York City on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, beginning at 8:00 a.m. EST.
