Terry Caloghiris to Succeed Edward J. Donnelly As Group Vice President - DuPont Coatings & Color Technologies

WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DuPont today announced that Edward J. Donnelly, 60, group vice president - DuPont Coatings & Color Technologies, will retire from the company at the end of 2006 after 37 years of service.

Effective Jan. 1, Donnelly will transition to a part-time position including representing the company as chairman and CEO of the National Paint and Coatings Association. Also on Jan. 1, Terry Caloghiris, 53, vice president and general manager - Performance Coatings Transformation, will succeed Donnelly as group vice president - DuPont Coatings & Color Technologies.

"Ed has been a dedicated and highly successful leader throughout his DuPont career. We will miss his exceptional understanding of markets and customers," said Charles O. Holliday, Jr., DuPont chairman and CEO. "We are pleased that Ed will continue to work with us on a part-time basis into 2006."

Caloghiris has extensive experience in a number of DuPont businesses. With assignments in Asia, Europe and the Americas, he has held a range of manufacturing, sales and marketing, technical and business management positions. Caloghiris joined DuPont in 1979 in London, England.
