IPO ALERT: Truck Hero Files For IPO

(RTTNews) - Truck Hero, Inc. has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of up to $100 million shares of common stock.

The Ann Arbor, Michigan-based provider of branded consumer accessories for pickup truck intends to apply to list its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "TRUK."

The company reported net sales of $189.2 million and net income of $7.4 million for the six months ended June 30, 2015.

Truck Hero's main competitors within the market for truck bed covers, include, among others, The Truck Accessories Group, LLC, Roll-N-Lock Corp., SnugTop, Agri-Cover, Inc. and within the market for truck caps, its main competitors include The Truck Accessories Group, LLC and SnugTop.

Truck Hero noted that its RealTruck and Auto Customs subsidiaries compete primarily with a fragmented set of small specialty online truck accessory retailers, generalist auto parts retailers with online offerings including AutoZone, Inc. (AZO), U.S. Auto Parts Network, Inc. (PRTS), Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (AAP), The Pep Boys and National Automotive Parts Association and large ecommerce retailers such as Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) and eBay, Inc. (EBAY).
