Developed by Amaze Entertainment, Pirates of the Caribbean: DeadMan's Chest comprise three unique swashbuckling third-personaction/adventure video games in which players engage in action thatreflects the cunning world of the film franchise -- with an abundanceof disloyalty, humor and revenge.

The PSP system version, BVG's first game for the platform, offersgamers the opportunity to control Captain Jack Sparrow. Players canutilize strength and speed attacks to take down enemies as well as"dirty moves," typical of pirate fighting. The PSP system version alsofeatures multiplayer ship battles for up to four players via localwireless. Ship battle gameplay contains 10 maps and offers GameSharemode (only one game disc needed to play on multiple PSP systems).

In the Nintendo DS version, players embark on a daring adventureas each of the three main characters -- Captain Jack Sparrow, WillTurner and Elizabeth Swann. Each character has his or her ownsignature fight move. The Nintendo DS version also includes threetwo-player mini-games that can be played via local wireless. Themini-games include Walk The Plank, Boom Barge and Shoot The Monkey.

The Game Boy Advance version lets players take the helm of theBlack Pearl as Captain Jack Sparrow in three-dimensional seafaringaction to battle other ships or sail to 15 islands. The title for theGBA includes 50 side-scrolling adventure maps.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest for the PSP system andNintendo DS are rated T for Teen by the Entertainment Software RatingBoard (ESRB). The PSP system version carries a suggested retail priceof $39.99. The Nintendo DS version carries a suggested retail price of$34.99. The Game Boy Advance version has an ESRB rating of E10+ forEveryone 10 and older, and carries a suggested retail price of $29.99.
