Eric Beringause

Eric Beringause joined Alcoa in January 2006 as president, AlcoaConsumer Products. He has extensive marketing and business developmentexperience with several well-known global consumer products companies.Before coming to Alcoa he worked for four years at Novartis, a worldleader in pharmaceuticals and consumer health, as senior vicepresident, Global Head-International Strategy for Gerber Infant andBaby Products, a part of Novartis' consumer health division. In thisposition, he had global accountability for Gerber's Nutritionbusinesses operating in 93 countries. His prior experience includesserving as executive vice president for Edgewood Consulting Group,Inc., a leading consumer products consulting organization based inMorris Plains, NJ, and serving in senior executive marketing andbusiness development positions for ConAgra Food, Inc's. Grist MillStore Brand Division, and for the Pillsbury Company Green GiantDivision. Earlier, he held product management positions for NabiscoBrands and Nestle, Inc.

Mr. Beringause graduated from Vassar College in 1980 with abachelor's degree in anthropology and obtained an MBA degree with afocus on marketing from Cornell University in 1982.
