Chevron Corp. Profit Retreats 37% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Chevron Corp. (CVX) announced earnings for third quarter that retreated compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit totaled $1.28 billion, or $0.68 per share. This was down from $2.04 billion, or $1.09 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 12.2% to $30.14 billion. This was down from $34.32 billion last year.
