Slovakia Consumer Confidence Improves In June
(RTTNews) - Slovakia's consumer confidence improved in June, after falling to its lowest level nearly two years in the previous month, survey data from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic showed Monday.
The seasonally adjusted consumer confidence index rose to -15.4 in June from -17.9 in May. The measure rose for the first time in four months.
Meanwhile, the economic sentiment slightly worsened in June, with the corresponding index falling to 101.2 from 101.3 in the previous month. In April, the score was 101.8.
In addition, the industrial confidence indicator rose to 4.3 from 0.0 in the previous month, while the construction confidence index rose to -8 from -9. However, the retail-trade confidence index fell to 14.7 from 15.7 and the services confidence indicator dropped to 5.7 from 16.0.
