Danish Jobless Rate Unchanged At 4-year Low
(RTTNews) - Denmark's unemployment rate held steady at a four-year low for the fifth consecutive month in October, Statistics Denmark said on Thursday.
The seasonally adjusted jobless rate was 5.7 percent, unchanged from September. The rate is the lowest since October 2009, when it was 5.6 percent. The figure has remained at the current level since June.
The number of net unemployed increased by 700 from September to 116,300.
The youth unemployment rate, the jobless rate for the 16-24 year olds, was 5 percent for the third consecutive month.
