Sherwin-Williams Company (The) -- Moody's says no immediate impact on Sherwin-Williams ratings or outlook from decision of Federal Competition Commission of Mexico decision

New York, July 19, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service today said that there is no immediate rating impact from The Sherwin-Williams Companies ("SHW" -- A3/Prime-2/negative) announcement that the Federal Competition Commission of Mexico has decided by a 3-2 vote that the acquisition of Consorcio Comex, S.A. de C.V. ("Comex") by SHW announced on November 12, 2012 was not authorized by the Commission.
