Moody's: Viacom's stable cable fees will protect it from streaming threat in the near-term
New York, May 10, 2016 -- Viacom's (Baa2 stable) steady stream of revenues from cable fees should allow the company to sustain its investment-grade credit rating in the face of a challenging and uncertain operating environment, says Moody's Investors Service in a new report. However, the company will likely need to boost its investments in programming and pay down its debt.
