Moody's publishes a technical update to its Sovereign Bond Rating Methodology

London, 18 December 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service has today published an update to its Sovereign Bond Rating methodology. The methodology is unchanged in all material respects but increases transparency around some technical details. Specifically, the update incorporates revisions to a number of factor score thresholds for ratios, as described on the first page of the updated methodology. Those thresholds have been updated periodically since the methodology was introduced and are being republished now for transparency. The threshold adjustments have had no rating implications.
