American Tower Corporation -- Moody's affirms American Tower's Baa3 rating on Verizon towers acquisition announcement; rating outlook remains negative.

New York, February 06, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") affirmed American Tower Corporation's ("AMT") senior unsecured rating at Baa3 and senior unsecured shelf rating at (P)Baa3 following the REIT's announcement of a proposed $5.056 billion acquisition of Verizon Communications, Inc.'s ("Verizon") tower portfolio; the rating outlook remains negative.
