Aflac Incorporated -- Moody's rates Aflac's new shelf registration (sr debt at (P)A3); stable outlook
New York, June 17, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service has assigned a (P)A3 provisional senior debt rating and (P)Baa1 provisional subordinated debt rating to Aflac, Inc.'s (Aflac; NYSE:AFL) shelf registration, which was filed on May 4, 2015. Aflac maintains its shelf registration for general corporate purposes. The outlook on the ratings is stable.
