Will Meta Platforms Be Worth More Than Alphabet by 2025?

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META), the world's largest social media company, has seen its shares soar nearly 660% over the past decade. That rally was driven by the rapid growth of its core apps (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp) and its surging ad revenues. It now shares a near-duopoly in the digital advertising market with Alphabet's (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL) Google in many countries.During the same decade, Alphabet's shares advanced just over 500%. Most of that growth was fueled by Google's search engine, YouTube, and its cloud platform.
