Web.com Q2 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - Web.com Group, Inc. (WWWW) reported net income for the second quarter of $4.6 million or $0.09 per share, compared to a net loss of $0.8 million or $0.02 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the second quarter was $31.5 million or $0.60 per share, compared to $33.6 million or $0.62 per share in the prior year quarter.

Total revenue for the second quarter fell to $135.7 million from $138.2 million a year ago, while adjusted revenue declined to $140.0 million from $144.7 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.57 per share on revenue of $138.08 billion for the second quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
