Visa Inc. Earnings Climb 11% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Visa Inc. (V) announced a profit for its fourth quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $2.14 billion, or $0.90 per share. This was up from $1.92 billion, or $0.78 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.85 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 14.1% to $4.86 billion. This was up from $4.26 billion last year.
