TSYS Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Electronic payment processing services provider TSYS (TSS) Tuesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $83.81 million or $0.45 per share, higher than $64.35 million or $0.34 per share in the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings from continuing operations for the quarter was $0.56 per share, compared t0 $0.49 per share in the prior-year quarter.

Total revenues for the quarter grew 8.1 percent to $616.89 million from $570.55 million in the same quarter last year. Constant currency revenues increased 7.0 percent.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.52 per share on revenue of $614.96 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
