Total System Services Q3 Income Climbs 24%

(RTTNews) - Total System Services (TSS) released a profit for its third quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $162.67 million, or $0.88 per share. This was up from $130.67 million, or $0.71 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.81 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 8.7% to $1.25 billion. This was up from $1.15 billion last year.
