Total System Services Earnings Climb 16% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Total System Services (TSS) revealed a profit for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $119.71 million, or $0.65 per share. This was higher than $103.05 million, or $0.56 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.59 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 14.8% to $707.89 million. This was up from $616.89 million last year.
