Thomson Reuters Corporation Bottom Line Advances 5% In Q2

(RTTNews) - Thomson Reuters Corporation (TRI.TO) revealed a profit for its second quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $374 million, or $0.50 per share. This was up from $355 million, or $0.45 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.1% to $2.77 billion. This was down from $2.80 billion last year.
