Third Point Reinsurance Files For IPO

(RTTNews) - Third Point Reinsurance Ltd. said Monday that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its common shares.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined.

The company said it plans to apply to list the common shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "TPRE."

The book-running managers for the offering will be J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, BofA Merrill Lynch and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. Aon Benfield Securities, Inc., Dowling & Partners Securities LLC, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc. and Sandler O'Neill + Partners, L.P. will act as co-managers for the offering.
