The J. M. Smucker Company Earnings Climb 33% In Q2

(RTTNews) - The J. M. Smucker Company (SJM) announced a profit for its second quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $229.1 million, or $1.91 per share. This was up from $172.0 million, or $1.69 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 40.5% to $2.08 billion. This was up from $1.48 billion last year.
