The Crown Royal Sponsored HBCU Love Tour Launches In Support of The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation

DALLAS, Sept. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Crown Royal, the world's best-selling Canadian whisky, is pleased to announce the launch of its HBCU Love Tour which supports initiatives for the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation. The tour's first stop, the Cotton Bowl State Fair Classic in Dallas, is set for Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018.

Throughout the event, Crown Royal brand ambassadors will encourage attendees of legal drinking age to give 'HBCU Love' via the foundation's Facebook page. One Solution, the branded solution division of Urban One broadcasting media company, will facilitate a 21+ tailgate HBCU Love Lounge experience that will include a live DJ, a custom hoodie heat press, meet and greet with comedians Joe Torry and Reginald Ballard (Bruh Man from the 90s hit series, "Martin"), among other activities. Torry is a 2001 inductee into the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame.

To keep consumers engaged this fall, an HBCU Love-focused :30 video which will highlight the year's HBCU campus tours will air on TV One, a subsidiary TV network of Radio One and iOne Digital.
