Telekomunikacja Polska to Offer Storage, Business Continuity Services

WARSAW, Poland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 12, 2005--Telekomunikacja Polska (TP) has chosen optical solutions from Nortel (NYSE:NT)(TSX:NT) to help meet growing demand from large enterprises in Poland for advanced, high-speed data services like real-time storage and business continuity and disaster recovery. These new services from TP will allow customers to secure and protect critical business information and simplify their networks through consolidation of servers and storage.

The high-speed data services to be offered by TP will allow critical business information to be mirrored at a remote site and be immediately available in the event of a business interruption like a power failure or network outage. The services will meet the stringent service level agreements demanded by the business continuity and disastery recovery plans of the financial and government sectors.
