Sterling Financial Q3 Profit Down

(RTTNews) - Sterling Financial Corp. (STSA) Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $21.0 million or $0.33 per share from $30.6 million or $0.49 per share a year ago.

Net interest income for the quarter rose to $82.5 million from $75.3 million a year ago. Total non-interest income for the quarter dropped to $31.9 million from $46.7 million a year ago. Analysts estimated revenues of $83.73 million.
