STAND-UP 360 New York City Comedy Series Coming to Carmike Cinemas on May 4th

Carmike Cinemas, Inc. (NASDAQ: CKEC), a leading digital cinema and 3D motion picture exhibitor, today announced that Screenvision, a national leader in cinema advertising and waggingtail entertainment, a film, television and theater production company, will partner to present STAND-UP 360 New York City Comedy at Carmike Cinemas theatres on May 4, 2009. STAND-UP 360 will be delivering a series of feature-length stand-up comedy performances recorded live at the Broadway Comedy Club in NYC.

The STAND-UP 360 series will debut four original performances hosted by Caroline Rhea, plus two special features, STAND-UP 360: Muy Caliente and STAND-UP 360: Inside Out. Muy Caliente, a 2-edition series, will be devoted to Hispanic comics such as Angelo Lozada, Cristela Alonzo, Sara Contreras and is hosted by rising star Erik Rivera. Inside Out will headline popular LGBT comics and friends including Judy Gold, Jackie Hoffman, Frank DeCaro and Jaffe Cohen.
