Ron Herrmann Joins AXA US to Lead Financial Protection Business
AXA S.A., a global financial protection and retirement leader, announced that Ronald Herrmann, CFP®, a 30-year insurance industry veteran, joined the company to head the AXA US Financial Protection business. Herrmann reports to Nick Lane, senior executive director and head of AXA US Life and Retirement.

In his new capacity, Herrmann will be responsible for the manufacture and distribution of the AXA US suite of life insurance products to customers.
"Ron brings deep and proven experience in providing sales leadership through third-party relationships, which is critical to the future success of AXA US,” Lane said in announcing the appointment. "In addition to this, Ron will be responsible for a strategic product manufacturing plan for the AXA US Life business, market expansion and increased penetration of products and services. His talent for training and his sales team-building skills make Ron a valuable addition to AXA US.”

Before joining AXA US, Herrmann served since 2013 as an Executive Vice President for Distribution & Sales at Prudential Financial, having come to Prudential via its acquisition of the individual life insurance business of Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. He had been with The Hartford since 1997 and was a Senior Vice President responsible for US distribution and sales when the business was purchased in 2012.
Hermann fills a position formerly occupied by Manish Agarwal, who now serves as the General Partner of AXA Strategic Ventures in the United States.
