(NASDAQ:RSTI), one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of high-performance laser beam sources and laser-based solutions, today announced that last week, Peter Wirth, its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, was hospitalized after experiencing a stroke.
    Although Dr. Wirth's prognosis is still undetermined, his condition is improving and he intends to resume his responsibilities when his recovery is complete. Pending Dr. Wirth's return, the Company's Board of Directors has requested Guenther Braun, the Company's Chief Financial Officer, to assume Dr. Wirth's responsibilities on an interim basis.
