Rick Pfeiffer Joins AIG Consumer Finance Group, Inc. as Chief Executive Officer

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) has announced that Rick Pfeiffer has joined AIG Consumer Finance Group, Inc. (AIGCFG) as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Pfeiffer will be based in New York and report to William N. Dooley, AIG Senior Vice President, Financial Services. "Rick Pfeiffer’s broad international experience in banking and financial services will contribute invaluable skills as he leads AIG’s Consumer Finance Group through the next stages of its strategic growth. We are confident that under his leadership the Consumer Finance Group will continue to expand worldwide,” said Mr. Dooley. Mr. Pfeiffer joins AIGCFG from The Ambertek Group, where he was Chief Executive Officer. Ambertek, which Mr. Pfieffer co-founded in 2001, provides advisory services to leading international banks and consulting companies on strategies and tactics to globalize financial service operations. Prior to that, Mr. Pfeiffer was General Manager, Retail & Commercial Banking, Asia-Pacific for ING FSI Commercial Banking, based in Hong Kong. Before joining ING FSI Commercial Banking he held several management positions with GE Capital Services and GE Information Services in Singapore, India and the U.S. Mr. Pfeiffer holds a BA degree from Amherst College and earned his MBA from the Darden School of the University of Virginia. AIGCFG provides consumer finance products and services, including credit cards, auto loans, and consumer loans in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. American International Group, Inc.
