Regulus CEO Kleanthis Xanthopoulos Resigns, Paul Grint Succeeds

(RTTNews) - Regulus Therapeutics Inc (RGLS) on Monday said Kleanthis Xanthopoulos has resigned as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of Regulus' Board, effective today, to pursue investment opportunities in the biotechnology industry.

The company said that Paul Grint, who previously served as Chief Medical Officer of Regulus, would succeed Xanthopoulos, effective today.

In addition, Neil Gibson, who has served as Chief Scientific Officer, will continue through June at the company as President's Fellow to assist Grint in assembling a new leadership team.
