QuickBooks Pro 2007 for Mac Goes Universal

Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq:INTU) today announced the upcoming release of a new version of its highly successful QuickBooks® program for Mac, one of the first major business applications to be developed to work efficiently on both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macs. The new Universal version of QuickBooks Pro 2007 for Mac is designed for speed, giving small business owners a competitive advantage when managing daily tasks, looking professional and getting more done with less effort. Business owners said that creating a professional image is important, helping build brand image, customer recognition and confidence in everything from estimates and invoices to sales receipts and purchase orders. The flexible templates can be tailored and saved with every customer transaction, so corporate account invoices may be designed to look different from consumer estimates and invoices. Users have full control over placement of logos and text on the form, and can format borders, colors and background colors any way they like on a variety of business forms.
