Principal Financial Group Inc. Profit Climbs 6% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Principal Financial Group Inc. (PFG) revealed earnings for its third quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $335.7 million, or $1.15 per share. This was up from $317.0 million, or $1.06 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 13.5% to $2.81 billion. This was down from $3.25 billion last year.
