Polaris Industries Profit Climbs 189% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Polaris Industries (PII) announced earnings for its third quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $93.53 million, or $1.46 per share. This was higher than $32.31 million, or $0.50 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.23 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 24.4% to $1.48 billion. This was up from $1.19 billion last year.
