Phillips 66 Q3 Earnings Rise 54%
(RTTNews) - Phillips 66 (PSX) released a profit for its third quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.
The company said its bottom line advanced to $858 million, or $1.66 per share. This was up from $556 million, or $1.05 per share, in last year's third quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.57 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 18.9% to $26.21 billion. This was up from $22.04 billion last year.
