Overstock.com Names Stormy Simon President, Jonathan Johnson Chairman

(RTTNews) - Overstock.com, Inc. (OSTK), a discount online shopping retailer, Thursday announced the promotion of Stormy Simon as president and Jonathan Johnson as chairman. Stormy has been serving as co-president and she will continue as a board member. Jonathan Johnson was executive vice chairman since May 2013, and in the new role he will replace Patrick Byrne, who will continue to serve as chief executive officer.

Mark Griffin, senior vice president and general counsel, will be the new corporate secretary, replacing Johnson. David Nielsen will continue as co-president and his responsibilities within the firm will also be enlarged, the said.
