NVR Inc. Announces 38% Increase In Q3 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - NVR Inc. (NVR) reported a profit for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $162.10 million, or $38.02 per share. This was higher than $117.39 million, or $28.46 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $36.26 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.9% to $1.63 billion. This was up from $1.51 billion last year.
