Novatel Wireless Names Michael Newman CFO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Novatel Wireless, Inc. (NVTL) Tuesday said it has appointed Michael Newman as its executive vice president and chief financial officer. Tom Allen, who has been the company's Interim CFO, since June 2014, will continue to provide consulting services and will assist Newman in his new role. Before joining Novatel, Newman had served in senior executive level positions at Websense, Inc. for over eleven years. From 2011 to 2013, he served as Chief Financial Officer, and from 2002-2011 he served in a variety of capacities, including General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer. Prior to Websense, Newman handled securities and corporate development matters in the legal department for Gateway, Inc., a publicly-traded computer manufacturer.
