Nordson Hikes Dividend, To Repurchase $200 Mln Stock - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Precision technology solutions provider Nordson Corp. (NDSN) Friday said its Board of Directors has approved a 20 percent increase in the company's quarterly cash dividend to $0.18 per common share from $0.15. The dividend is payable on September 10 to shareholders of record on August 27.

The Board also has authorized a new $200 million share repurchase program. The new program replaces the $100 million share repurchase program of March 2012, under which about $41 million in Nordson shares had been purchased.

Nordson President and CEO Michael Hilton said, "Nordson continues to generate strong cash flow which enables us to fund organic and acquisitive growth opportunities, to increase our dividend consistently, and to execute our share repurchase strategy."
