FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Snow and ice, gray skies and bitterly cold air can mean only one thing -- it's time to hop on American Airlines or American Eagle and head for some warmer weather!
American and American Eagle are offering great low fares to and from select destinations in the Bahamas, the Caribbean and Mexico for travel now through March 31, 2006. So if thoughts of white sand top visions of white snow, if blue seas are more appealing than gray clouds, and if you'd rather bake in the sun than shake in your winter jacket, then American and American Eagle are your airlines and your time has arrived.
These warm-weather fares have no advance purchase, but are only available for sale through Dec. 15, 2005. So, hurry and reserve your seat now before you're frozen out of the action.
Here are the highlights of American's and American Eagle's sale fares to/from the Bahamas, the Caribbean and Mexico:

Fares shown are for round-trip Economy-Class travel purchased on AA.com, and are in U.S. dollars. Fares shown to the Bahamas are valid for travel Monday through Thursday, and from the Bahamas Tuesday though Friday. Fares shown to and from the rest of the Caribbean are valid for travel Tuesday through Thursday. Fares shown to and from Mexico are valid for travel Monday through Thursday. Slightly higher fares apply for travel on other days. Fares are subject to change without notice. International fares are subject to government approval.
Fares do not include (a) a federal excise tax of $3.20 per U.S. domestic flight segment, defined as one takeoff and landing, of a passenger's itinerary; (b) up to $18 per round trip in local airport charges; and (c) September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement originating at a U.S. airport, up to $5 per one way or $10 per round trip. Other government taxes and fees of up to $160, varying by destination, are not included and may vary slightly depending on currency exchange rates at the time of purchase.
Reservations must be made and tickets purchased within three days of making reservations, but not later than 11:59 p.m., Dec. 15, 2005 (Central Standard Time).
Fares shown are valid for travel through March 31, 2006; however, travel to the Bahamas and the Caribbean is not valid Feb. 17-19, 2006, and from the Bahamas and the Caribbean travel is not valid Feb. 25-27, 2006; travel to Mexico is not valid Dec. 11, 2005 through Jan. 15, 2006, or Feb. 16-19, 2006, and from Mexico travel is not valid Jan. 1-8, 2006, Feb. 20, 2006, or Feb. 24-27, 2006. For travel to and from the Bahamas and the Caribbean, a two-day minimum stay is required and a 30-day maximum stay is allowed. For travel to and from Mexico, a Saturday-night minimum stay is required and a one-month maximum stay is allowed.
Advertised fares are valid only on American Airlines, American Eagle, and AmericanConnection(R) and do not apply to other codeshare flights. Seats are limited. Fares may not be available on all flights. Schedules are subject to change without notice.
Fares are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Changes to your ticket may be made if you cancel your reservation before the original departure time, meet the restrictions of the new fare, and pay a $100 change fee plus any fare difference. When ticketed flights are canceled prior to departure time, the ticket will be valid for one year from the date of issue on an unused ticket or one year from travel origination on a partially used ticket. If you do not cancel your flight before departure time, the ticket has no value.
