Newmont Mining Corp. Q1 Profit Climbs 3%

(RTTNews) - Newmont Mining Corp. (NEM) released earnings for its first quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $133 million, or $0.25 per share. This was up from $129 million, or $0.24 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 13.7% to $1.66 billion. This was up from $1.46 billion last year.
