Newmont Corporation Q3 Income Retreats

(RTTNews) - Newmont Corporation (NEM) announced a profit for third quarter that decreased from the same period last year

The company's bottom line totaled $158 million, or $0.20 per share. This compares with $213 million, or $0.27 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Excluding items, Newmont Corporation reported adjusted earnings of $286 million or $0.36 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the quarter fell 5.3% to $2.49 billion from $2.63 billion last year.
