Moto X To Hit Five Major Carriers In U.S
(RTTNews) - Motorola finally has a smartphone made for everyone, with Google (GOOG) locking in all five major carriers for its upcoming Moto X.
A week before its release, rumors spread out that Moto X will be released to all major carriers, except T-Mobile. However, an FCC filing on Saturday has confirmed that the T-Mobile radio bands will also be on board.
According to the filing, the device has all the necessary bands to work on, including HSPA+, LTE etc. Moto X is all et to be launched in the U.S. on August 1, on major carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and US Cellular.
Photos and specs of the much anticipated smartphone have already been leaked on the internet. The Moto X is expected to be powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Krait CPU with 2GB of RAM on the MSM8960 Pro chipset. The specs also include a 720p display, 16GB of internal memory.
Moto X is expected to be shipped with the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, carrying a price tag of $299 for 16GB and $349 for 32GB.
