Metalico To Be Acquired By Total Merchant For $105 Mln
(RTTNews) - Board of Metalico Inc. (MEA), an operator of scrap metal recycling facilities, has agreed to sell the company to Total Merchant Ltd for about $105 million.
Metalico's stockholders will be paid $0.60 for each share of Metalico held. The acquisition in expected to close during the third quarter of 2015.
The merger is subject to certain closing conditions, including approval of holders of a majority of Metalico's common stock and other customary conditions. However, no regulatory approval is required.
