Keith Whisenand Joins Atkore International as Vice President of Investor Relations

Atkore International Group Inc. (NYSE: ATKR) announced that Keith Whisenand has joined the Company as Vice President - Investor Relations, reporting to Chief Financial Officer, James Mallak, effective August 8, 2016. In this role, Whisenand will assume responsibility as the primary point of contact and assisting in the Company’s relationships with the analyst and investor community.

Whisenand joins Atkore from Univar, Inc. where he was Vice President-Finance Operations for the U.S.A. Segment, the largest reporting segment within the company, with responsibility for supporting four commercial business units. Prior to that, Whisenand was Global Vice President-Finance at Anixter, Inc., supporting the Fasteners business unit. He previously spent 9 years at Diversey, Inc. holding various leadership positions, including Global Vice President-Finance for the Customer Solutions and Innovation unit, Regional Vice President-Finance, and Director of Finance-Planning, Analysis and Supply Chain for North America. Earlier in his career, Whisenand spent 5 years at Textron Fastening Systems as a Six Sigma Black Belt, who helped manage team-based cost reduction projects, as well as held various finance roles.

Whisenand earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University. He also is a Certified Public Accountant, Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Leader.
