InventHelp Inventor Develops Door Opening/Closing Device for Hospital Patients (STU-2395)
PITTSBURGH, Dec. 15, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to create a safe and convenient way for a patient to open or close the door to their hospital room," said an inventor, from South Jordan, Utah, "so I invented the PATIENT'S CHOICE REMOTE. My design enables a patient to easily open the door if expecting visitors or close it to gain privacy or isolation from the light and noise."
The invention enables a bedridden patient to open and close the door to the room. In doing so, it eliminates the need to get up or call for assistance. As a result, it increases independence and convenience and it provides added privacy and peace of mind. The invention features a user-friendly design that is easy to use so it is ideal for hospitals and healthcare facilities. Additionally, it can be adapted for use in most patient rooms.
The original design was submitted to the Salt Lake City sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
